Coach Wayne Bryan (UCSB Hall of Fame,SB Tennis Patrons Hall of Fame and Southern Cal Tennis Association Hall of Fame & father of the greatest doubles team) had this to say about Larry Mousouris.
Larry Mousouris has long been one of the top coaches in the country. He has had two US Open Junior Champions, pro players, loads of top D1 College players, top ranked juniors in SoCal and in the nation.
Very wise. Very experienced. Very dedicated. Very hard working. Very caring.
Personable. Fun. Funny. Wonderful people skills.
He has both a no-nonsense approach, while at the same time he has a huge and warm heart. If he takes you on as a student, you will get better and fast. You will also become a better person.
He is the Dean of all the great Santa Barbara pros. Not only a fine Coach, but he also does so much for our sport in general. When the Santa Barbara City College program was cut, he spearheaded the effort and battled mightily and was successful in getting the team restored and vibrant again. A great supporter of the SBTP and so many other worthwhile tennis programs through the years, he also does much to further high school and college tennis in the area.
He has enriched my life tremendously, always been very supportive of Mike and Bob since Jump Street, and I am proud to call him a longtime friend . . .
