Camille Renga Dellar

When painting “en plein air,” the true colors of nature and the atmosphere of the day inspire Camille-every day being unique. Striving for a sense of place in her paintings, her interpretation of the landscape also reflects the tranquility she experiences while painting. Primarily self-taught, camille has had the opportunity to study under a variety of fine artist.
Local artist, Marilee Krause combines water color and pastel to create paintings informed by non-objective work, giving her landscapes a contemporary feel. Drawing inspiration from nature and sketching out in the field, in the studio her process is an attempt to retain the loose simplicity of the original sketch. “A little geometry gives oomph”, says Marilee.
